The truth revealed!

So today was day 8. This morning I got on the scale and the scale read 259.6 lbs!!! Remember that I started at 266.4 lbs so that is a total loss of 6 pounds and 6 ounces!!! Oh my gosh, I can't believe my eyes so I get on the scale again. Again 259.8!!! <Happy dance>

Now its time to break out the tape measure!

  2. WOW!!!!! That is nuts! A great nuts...but nuts all the same! 8 inches in your waist and an inch off your neck in a week! I am so amazed, and I think inspired. So all you're really doing (out of the norm) is power walking? Would it be too much to ask for you to share what your typical day's intake is as well. You started to at first, but I know it's hard to keep up with everything that goes in at the end of the day.

I am so SUPER PROUD of you! Keep up the great work and hopefully soon I will muster the strength to join you!

  3. Amy,

My normal intake is between 1000 and 1500 calories. As far as the type of exercise, I still power walk sometimes but it gets kind of boring so I also (and very poorly I might add) do dance aerobics, or heavy duty cleaning. The most important thing is moving. It doesn't matter what kind of moving you do just move! I figure if your sweating your doing something right. Plus I found a site where I can count the calories I intake and the calories I burn. The site is http://www.livestrong.com and it is free. If I can do it so can you. I believe in you!
